We are committed to using innovative technology and sustainable materials to create a product that is both effective and eco-friendly.
At Emowai, we believe that personal hygiene should be a comfortable and eco-friendly experience for everyone. Our story began with a simple realization that the bathroom fixtures available in the US market are not designed with women's needs in mind.
It all started with personal conundrum, with my daughter sharing her frustration with me about the lack of a proper cleaning solution in hotels during her trips, especially during her periods. We both felt that there must be a better way to ensure hygiene and comfort for women in these situations.
The second spark for our product came during the COVID-19 pandemic when the shortage of toilet paper made us realize the ecological disaster associated with its production and use. We were shocked to discover that Americans alone use over 34 million rolls of toilet paper every day, and it takes 37-42 gallons of water to make a single roll. We knew we had to make a difference.
As we dug deeper, we discovered that using water for cleaning oneself is a common practice in many cultures around the world. It is not only more hygienic but also saves a significant amount of water and reduces the environmental impact of toilet paper production. This led us to create iBidet - a revolutionary, handheld bidet that provides warm water, air dryer, and pH balanced cleanser for a luxurious yet eco-friendly experience.
